We initiated dialogue with Leaping Bunny, setting the stage for future collaborations in promoting cruelty-free practices in the cosmetics industry.

We established our dedicated Government Affairs team, showcasing its capabilities by successfully assisting Australian Blueberry Growers Association (ABGA) in preparing for market access to China.

In 2017, we launched a groundbreaking cruelty-free pilot project in collaboration with the skincare brand Raunsborg, marking our entry into the realm of ethical cosmetics regulation.

Our achievements in advocating for the abandonment of animal testing in China garnered widespread international attention.

We signed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding with Fengpu Industrial Park and Cruelty-Free International, paving the way for enhanced cooperation in promoting cruelty-free practices.

We launched the Leaping Bunny Pilot projects, a significant milestone in our efforts to promote cruelty-free cosmetics in China.

With over 17 years of experience in China, Mette Knudsen brings unparalleled expertise to her role as CEO and founder of Knudsen&CRC. Holding a Ph.D. in International Trade and a Master of Economics, Mette’s career began as a Consul in Shanghai for the Danish Government, where she assisted companies in navigating China’s complex regulatory landscape. Her extensive background in advising multinational corporations on regulatory challenges and government affairs makes her a trusted leader in highly regulated industries and markets.

Starting as our first intern, Valery rose to become our China GM in 2020 and now oversees our Certification and Regulatory Compliance teams across China, EU, and UK. With a Master’s degree in International Business from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and fluency in Chinese, Valery brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to our global operations, specializing in regulatory affairs and market entry strategies for highly regulated industries.

A published author in international academic journals, Cathy combines her Master’s degree in Pharmacy from Shanghai Fudan University with certification as a nutritionist to provide comprehensive insights.
