Little Red Rabbit now has its own website

Ahead of the official launch in November 2026, Little Red Rabbit has a dedicated home at littleredrabbit.com. The site explains what the certification stands for, how it aligns with T/SHRH 080-2026, China's first group standard for evaluating non-animal tested cosmetics, and how certification rests on independent, verifiable evidence. Brands can find out whether their products may qualify and get in touch with the team, while consumers will be able to learn more about the Little Red Rabbit mark, and non-animal testing in China. New details on the criteria, the launch and certified brands will be published there first.

What is Little Red Rabbit

Little Red Rabbit is a localized non-animal testing cosmetics certification program developed by Knudsen & CRC, with support from the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS). Designed for both Chinese and international brands and ingredient suppliers, it is the first program to bring ingredient suppliers into its independent certification scope, filling a gap in existing international certification systems. Certification is based on independent, verifiable evidence, covers the full supply chain from finished products to ingredients, and includes both pre-market review and post-market oversight. The Little Red Rabbit standard has now been adopted as China's first group standard for non-animal testing cosmetics evaluation guidelines, and its criteria are designed to align with internationally recognized cruelty-free standards such as Leaping Bunny.

Built for China

Developed in alignment with T/SHRH 080-2026 - China's first Group Standard specifically for the evaluation of non-animal tested cosmetics - giving brands a locally recognised credential that is designed for the Chinese market from the ground up.

Full Supply Chain

The programme covers the full supply chain from ingredients to finished products - including raw material suppliers, a segment not addressed by any existing international certification programme.

Consumer Verifiable

Every certified product receives a unique WeChat QR code linked to a live verification database. Consumers can verify certification status instantly from their phone - at point of purchase, on packaging, or on e-commerce listings.

International Partnership

Knudsen&CRC has been the official audit partner of the Leaping Bunny China Qualification Program - a programme run by AAVS (American Anti-Vivisection Society) and Leaping Bunny US & Canada. Established in November 1996, Leaping Bunny US & Canada is one of the world's longest-running and most trusted non-animal testing certification programmes, with nearly 30 years of recognised credibility. Little Red Rabbit builds on this foundation, extending our non-animal testing verification expertise to brands of all sizes entering or operating in China.
